Research in Homecare

Pristine Health Solutions is proud to have secured a successful bid from the NIHR North West Regional Research Delivery Network to support the development of research-ready communities across Greater Manchester. As a homecare provider, we promote research uptake and offer research skills training within the sector.

We invite other homecare services to get involved and help shape the future of evidence-based care.

Research in Care Homes

Pristine Health Solutions is accredited by NIHR Enrich as a research ready site. We have committed our selves to mainstream health and social care research in our community to improve service delivery.

Research in Primary Care

We believe research is central to improving primary care. By supporting GP practices to participate in health and social care research and clinical trials, we help bring innovation closer to communities. Our team provides the research operations needed to deliver studies smoothly and effectively, ensuring patients benefit from the latest advances in care.

How to Participate

Research for the Future is an award-winning, NHS supported campaign that helps people find out about and take part in health and care research.  Getting involved in research means you are helping to discover new ways to prevent, diagnose and manage illnesses.

Everyone is welcome to register with Research for the Future, whether you have a health condition or not. The only requirement is that you must live in England and be 18 or over. Registering means you will receive information about opportunities to take part in research.

We have opportunities to get involved in research across all health conditions as well as for healthy volunteers.

Be Part of Research is a free service which makes it easy to find and take part in vital health and care research across the UK.

Simply tell us which health conditions you’re interested in. We’ll match you to suitable studies and send you information on how to take part.

Dementia affects more than 944,000 people in the UK.

Research offers hope. Only through research can we understand what causes dementia diseases, develop effective treatments and improve the care of those living with dementia.

But for research to make progress we need more people with and without dementia to take part in vital studies. Help beat dementia by signing up today.

“Health volunteers play a vital role in clinical trials, helping to shape the future of healthcare. By taking part, volunteers contribute to new discoveries, improved treatments, and better care for communities. Every volunteer makes a difference.”

The NIHR is funded by the Department of Health and Social Care to improve the health and wealth of the nation through research.

Working in partnership with the NHS, universities, local government, other research funders, patients and the public - they fund, enable and deliver world-leading health and social care research that improves people's health and wellbeing and promotes economic growth.

They are also a major funder of applied health research in low and middle income countries, work that is principally funded through UK government international development funding.
